I work for the local CBS station WTHI-TV as a broadcast engineer. I love anything technical and especially building and maintaining repeater systems. I have recently (Semptember 14th 2006) put on my own UHF repeater. Its frequency pair is 444.850/449.850. It is an open system with no PL tone. It is a 100% genuine motorola micor repeater except it has a few extras. It has a Scom 7K Controller and a Behringer Audio Processor. It also has a VHF link to the 145.350 Repeater. The link is on most days but sometimes is shut off for band openings or maintenance. I encourage everyone to try out the new machine and let me know what you think. 73, K9EDP |
